Faye, Executive Director
Faye is currently on parental leave.
Candace, Production Lead
Candace has been performing with Folklorico Filipino Canada since 2006, and participated in international tours to the Czech Republic, Alaska, and Mexico. Outside of Folklorico, Candace is a professional dance artist. She enjoys creating contemporary works and using Philippine folk dance as the language of storytelling.
Fun fact: her favourite dance is Pangalay!
Chelsea, Operations Lead
Chelsea has been dancing with Folklorico Filipino Canada since 2004. She was a principal dancer from 2016 to 2019, when she participated in national dance exchanges, and two international tours.
Favourite FFC memory: whale watching as a group in Alaska!
Darielle, Marketing and Communications Lead
Darielle has been a part of Folklorico Filipino Canada for almost 15 years. She has toured with Folklorico to the Czech Republic, Poland, and Mexico. "Dancing with Folklorico has connected me with my culture and my family in ways I didn't think possible. I'm so grateful for the doors FFC has opened for me."
Chloe, Production Coordinator
Chloe has been dancing and performing Philippine folk dance since 2006. Her love and passion for the culture and the art form is what motivated her academic pursuits and her research on the Filipinx identity.
Fun fact: her favourite dance is Salip/Salidsid!
